Temperature is the single biggest factor in peptide longevity. Get it wrong by a few degrees for too long and the peptide loses potency.

Lyophilised peptides survive Royal Mail transit (typically <48 hours) without refrigeration. The freeze-dried form is stable at ambient temperatures for weeks.
